Donald Brown – Future Board Member At Large
Servant-leader Dr. Donald Brown’s calling of more than 40 years has been that of conceptualizing, developing, and implementing academic support programs aimed at student success. Since 2006, Boston College, where Dr. Brown worked for 27 years, has presented the Dr. Donald Brown Award to “an outstanding senior who throughout their career has made extraordinary contributions to the Boston College community in ways that have benefited African-American, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American (AHANA) students in areas of leadership, service, and academic development.” Dr. Brown has founded or played a leading role in the founding of the Benjamin Elijah Mays Mentoring Program, Concerned Black Men of Massachusetts Inc., Christian Soldiers, Inc., and Bridging Bridges. Dr. Brown has a Doctorate in Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Springfield College.
Cheryl Love – Future Enhearten Vice President, Board Member
Dr. Love serves as a career counselor at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona’s career center. She has a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Studies and Master’s Degree in Counseling along with a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Pupil Personnel Service Credential from California State University, Fullerton. Her Doctorate is from the University of California, Los Angeles in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Counseling. Dr. Love has 29+ years of experience as a counselor and teacher in higher education, public schools, and the non-profit sector. She is a tireless advocate for opportunities for young and old to reach their full potential as children of God. She leads with a passion for working towards gender and racial equality and African-American mobility.
Joshua Marino – Future Board Member At Large
Joshua's passion is finding, developing and launching leaders God is calling to share the good news of Jesus with people everywhere. Joshua lives in Brea, CA, with his wife Christy and his two daughters, Joy and Grace.
Sosie Matosian – Enhearten Writer and Coach in Training
Sosie Matosian resides in Virginia with her husband, three children and two dogs. She has her degree in Biblical Studies from University of Northwestern with additional emphasis and certificate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She is passionate about sharing her faith with others and brings a personal perspective to the struggles one might face in their journey walking to and with Christ.
Allan Senyange – Enhearten Communications
I am Allan Senyange. Born in Uganda East Africa. I'm a pastor. I started serving God at the age of 17 and my ministry has impacted many people. My life is a living proof that power belongs to God.
Susan Siaw – Future Board Member, Secretary, and Coach in Training
Susan Nakayama Siaw, Ph.D., (University of Southern California, 1982) has been a psychology professor at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, for more than 30 years. Her academic interests include critical thinking strategies and developmental changes in cognition across the lifespan. She serves as faculty advisor for several Christian clubs and co-leads the Christian Faculty Staff Movement on her campus. She received the Faculty Commons Erick Nilson Award for Christian Leadership in 2010. Dr. Siaw has been part of a Bible Study Fellowship class in Southern California for almost 20 years and serves as the Class Administrator. She has a passion for missions that impact students and professors at universities around the world.
Jenny Switkes – Founder of Enhearten, Future Chair of the Board
Jenny is a pastor, mathematics professor, and missionary who is passionate about Jesus and loves the bivocational life that God has given her. She is ordained in the Free Methodist Church, having attended seminary at Azusa Pacific University, and serves in the Pacific Coast Japanese Conference as an Associate Pastor at Rise OC, Costa Mesa, CA. Jenny teaches as a professor of mathematics at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she has the joy of mentoring many first-generation college students from diverse backgrounds. She loves helping apostolic leaders clarify their calling and take next steps to live their call.
